Author:

I write a blog called Godly Increase to help people understand that life is not at all what it seems. The masses live as though there is no God, but apart from Him nothing else could exist. God not only created but also sustains our world, so that all what seems to be governed by the laws of physics are themselves controlled by the divine person who wrote a book to explain the meaning of life. The book is the Bible and it is the only source of truth on the planet. Within God's book secondary causes are articulated, but God is the primary cause of all things. Some may plant, others may water, but it is God that causes the growth.

  1. If truth is personified then you diminish what God is. TRUTH is the essence of God as is LOVE, GOOD, FAITHFULNESS, SPIRIT and much more and it is His essence that makes God GOD. TRUTH is a Person and never a personified concept. TRUTH must relate within a community, it must always be right, it must remain fully faithful and kind and it must be relationally shared in LOVE. Only God can do that because only God is the uncaused essence ot of WHAT He alone is.

    1. All I meant to say is that when God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ, truth became personified, that is, it could be seen in manhood. Truth was not a concept any more than eternal life was a concept. Jesus Christ was not a concept, He was a man and He was God.
God is God and there is no other, and all things proceed from Him. God is the source of all things, He is the source of truth, light, love, beauty. We cannot say God is truth and truth is God. Truth is not God, it proceeds from God.
I would never say truth is a concept, and neither would I say truth is God. God is truth and never the other way around. All that to say that truth was personified in the sense that God became a person in the same sense than men are persons. As God became a person so did the truth.
